ABOUT US

Since 1998

Fiamma pizza is

more than just a local pizzeria; it's a gathering place for moments that ignite joy and create memories. "Fiamma" means "little fiery one" – a tribute to the lively flames that have sparked conversations and toasted countless pizzas to perfection over the years.

In 1998, a great location and the desire to produce superb pizza led Dan and Ken Bothman to create La Fiamma Wood Fire Pizza. An immediate sensation, Dan and Ken’s restaurant was showered with acclaim, winning the Best New Business and Bellingham’s Best Pizza awards, as well as garnering two Best Recipe awards in the National Association of Pizza Operators (NAPO) International Recipe Contest.

Years later, we’ve shifted to an electric 4-deck PizzaMaster oven and rebranded to FiAMMA Pizza. Though we evolved, our core remains unchanged and we continue to craft the same award-winning pizza.

Stellar pizza isn’t the only reason to visit FiAMMA Pizza. The stylish décor and vibrant atmosphere delight and entice both young and old, and everyone in between. Enjoy a meal in our dining room, relax on our heated outdoor patio and catch an amazing sunset over the San Juan Islands, or swing by the Pye Hole window for a quick slice on the go.

DID YOU KNOW?
FIAMMA TRANSLATES TO 'LITTLE FIERY ONE' OR 'FLAME'.
(IT ACTUALLY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH LOGS.)
